Hayle Town Council recognises and supports the valuable contribution made by the voluntary sector to the wellbeing of the community. We provide financial support for community organisations working for the benefit of Hayle residents, with the intention of improving the range of services and activities.
The council is able to make a number of small grants to local organisations each year.
Examples of grants include:
- Musical instruments for a community band
- Bowling Club equipment
- Hayle Oral History Project – production of book
- Money towards new community Food Cupboards
Grant applications are considered four times a year. The next meeting to consider grant application is scheduled for 15 October 2026. Please ensure applications are received by 5 October 2026 at the latest in order to be considered.
Awards can be from £50 upwards, but the larger the amount requested, the stronger the case required. If you have any questions about this process please email info@hayletowncouncil.gov.uk.

Grants given at the last Resource Committee meeting in July 2026:
- Ro Dama Farm CIC: a grant of £300 was awarded towards their Nature Recovery Project.
- Angarrack Christmas Lights: a grant of £2,900 was awarded to go towards urgent repairs and improvements using funds from the Open Spaces earmarked reserve.
- Churches Together in Hayle: a grant of £50 was awarded towards venue hire and refreshments for a church open day.
