Small Grants

Hayle Town Council recognises and supports the valuable contribution made by the voluntary sector to the wellbeing of the community. We provide financial support for community organisations working for the benefit of Hayle residents, with the intention of improving the range of services and activities.

The council is able to make a number of small grants to local organisations each year.

Examples of grants include:

  • Musical instruments for the band
  • Bowling Club equipment
  • Judo Club – help with construction
  • Allotments – communal shed
  • Hayle Oral History Project – production of book

Grant applications are considered four times a year. The next meeting to consider grant application is scheduled for Thursday 17 July 2025. Contact the office for an application pack at  info@hayletowncouncil.net

Awards can be from £50 upwards, but the larger the amount requested the stronger the case that is required.
